              Pali for Buddhist Research

            ศึกษาประวัติและพัฒนาการภาษาบาลี การพูด อ่าน เขียนภาษาบาลีในระดับพื้นฐาน รูปแบบวรรณกรรม เน้นให้นิสิตศึกษาค้นคว้าเนื้อหาสาระในพระไตรปิฎกฉบับภาษาบาลีอักษรต่าง ๆ วรรณกรรมภาษาบาลีอื่น ๆ ที่สามารถนำไปใช้ในงานวิจัย วิทยานิพนธ์ และบทความวิจัย

              To study  the Pãli’s history and its development focusing on speaking, reading and its writing basic Pãli including the forms of literature so as to encourage students to do intensive research in various alphabet forms of Pãli Tipitaka and other Pãli literature where students can utilize them in their research works, thesis and research articles.

               Usage of Pali 

             ศึกษาประวัติและพัฒนาการภาษาบาลี การพูด อ่าน เขียน ภาษาบาลีในระดับพื้นฐาน และแปลบาลีเป็นภาษาไทยและภาษาไทยเป็นภาษาบาลี โดยใช้หนังสือชาตกัฏฐกถาและธรรมปทัฏฐกถาประกอบ

             It is to study the Pãli’s history and its development through speaking, reading, writing at the basic level and it is also focused on the translation of Pãli into Thai and Thai language into Pãli. In this course, the teaching materials are of Jãtakaññhakathã and Dhammapada ññhakathã  

๖๐๐ ๒๐๕ กรรมฐาน                                                                                    (๓) (๓-๐-๖)              Buddhist Meditation

              ศึกษาหลักสมถกรรมฐานและวิปัสสนากรรมฐานที่ปรากฏในคัมภีร์พระพุทธศาสนา รูปแบบการปฏิบัติกรรมฐานของสำนักต่าง ๆ ในสังคมไทย เน้นศึกษาอารมณ์ของกรรมฐาน ลำดับขั้นตอนของการเจริญกรรมฐานและผลที่เกิดจากการเจริญกรรมฐาน รวมทั้งฝึกการเจริญกรรมฐานตามเกณฑ์การศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท

             This course is to study the principles of the tranquility and insight meditation as appeared in Buddhist scriptures. In doing these, it also delves into the formation of various schools of meditation practices in Thai society. While studying, it lays great emphasis on the subjects of meditation, the levels of development and its effects derived from such practices. In the given course, it becomes compulsory for students to attain the prescribed meditation practices.

๖๐๐ ๑๐๔ ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการวิจัยทางพระพุทธศาสนา                                                   (๓) (๓-๐-๖)

     English  for Buddhist Research

             ศึกษาพระพุทธศาสนาผ่านภาษาอังกฤษทั้งการพูด การฟัง การอ่านและการเขียนโดยเน้นฝึกหาการใช้ศัพท์เฉพาะวิชาการด้านพระพุทธศาสนา (technical term) การอ่านคัมภีร์หรือตำรางานวิจัยทางพระพุทธศาสนาในภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อประโยชน์ในการทำงานวิจัยและวิทยานิพนธ์

             It is to study Buddhism through English which basically focuses on speaking, listening, reading and writing where the usage of technical terms and Buddhist scriptural and  textual reading is emphasized in order to benefit thesis and research works.

               Research Methodology in Buddhism

             ศึกษาหลักการและกระบวนการของการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพและการวิจัยรูปแบบอื่น ๆ ที่เหมาะสมกับการศึกษาวิจัยทางพระพุทธศาสนา ฝึกปฏิบัติการในการในการกำหนดชื่อเรื่อง ที่มาและความสำคัญของปัญหา วัตถุประสงค์ เครื่องมือการวิจัย การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล การสังเคราะห์ข้อมูลและการสรุปผลการวิจัย

                 To study principles and procedures of the quantitative and qualitative research including other forms of related research which are suitable to Buddhist research works and practise giving research titles, writing background and problems, research objectives,  research methodology, data collection, data analysis and synthesis, and research conclusion  respectively.

               Commentary Analysis

  ศึกษาวิเคราะห์โครงสร้าง เนื้อหา สังเคราะห์แก่นธรรมและตีความเนื้อหาสาระในอรรถกถา รวมถึงการประเมินคุณค่าของคัมภีร์อรรถกถา โดยการเชื่อมโยงกับพระไตรปิฎก เพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการเขียนบทความทางวิชาการและการทำวิจัย

  The purpose of this course is to study, analyze and synthesize the structures, contents, the core of Dhamma and the interpretation of its essences in the Commentaries in the manner of performing critical appraisal of its value in connection with Tipitaka as the means  for academic and research writing.

               Tipitaka Analysis

               ศึกษาวิเคราะห์ประวัติ พัฒนาการ โครงสร้าง สาระสังเขป และสาระสำคัญในพระไตรปิฎก พุทธทัศน์เกี่ยวกับความจริง ความดี ความงาม ตลอดถึงประยุกต์หลักการทางพระพุทธศาสนาไปใช้ในการดำเนินชีวิต และการพัฒนาสังคมสันติสุข

               To study and analyze the Buddhist history, the development, structure and essence in brief of Tipitaka and also to explore the Buddhist perspectives on the truth, virtues and aesthetics including the application of such Buddhist principles into the ways of life and the development of peaceful society.

                 Buddhist Ethics and Contemporary Social Problems

               ศึกษาแนวคิดทางพุทธจริยศาสตร์ที่เกี่ยวกับเกณฑ์ตัดสินความดี ความชั่ว ควร ไม่ควร โดยเฉพาะหลักอริยวินัย เพื่อเป็นฐานในการอธิบายและตอบปัญหาสังคมร่วมสมัยที่มีผลกระทบต่อสังคมและมนุษย์ มาจากความก้าวหน้าทางด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีปัจจุบัน

               This course is to study Buddhist ethics concerning its criterion in the Noble Order to be able to make judgement on what is good, what is bad, what ought to be done, what ought not to be done,  so to explain and to provide solutions to the contemporary social issues affecting on society and man caused by the current advancement of science and technology development.

                Seminar on Buddhism

               สัมมนาพระพุทธศาสนากับประเด็นปัญหาสังคมร่วมสมัย โดยให้นิสิตมีส่วนร่วมในการกำหนดประเด็นการสัมมนา การวิเคราะห์ เสนอข้อคิดเห็น หาแนวทางประยุกต์พุทธธรรม และพัฒนาโจทย์วิจัยที่นำไปสู่การแก้ปัญหาสังคม

       It is to provide students the seminar course on Buddhism and contemporary issues. In so doing, the clear-cut determination of problems must be made in order to analyze and provide the relevant solutions including their proposed viewpoints and thereby discovering the ways to possibly apply Buddhadhamma into the existing problems where the research questions can be set.

     Selected Buddhist Works

               ศึกษางานสำคัญทางพระพุทธศาสนาของนักปราชญ์คนสำคัญทางพระพุทธศาสนาทั้งฝ่ายเถรวาทและมหายาน ซึ่งสะท้อนอัตลักษณ์และการเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนา โดยการวิเคราะห์ประเด็นที่มาและความสำคัญของผลงาน วัตถุประสงค์ วิธีดำเนินการ โครงสร้าง เนื้อหา และประเด็นปัญหาที่ควรนำมาศึกษาวิจัยต่อยอด

               This course is to study the significant Buddhist literary works contributed by the great Buddhist scholars both in Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism which shed light on the identities and the spread of Buddhism. In this respect, students are required to critically analyze the origin and important development of those works in terms of its objectives, procedures, structures, contents and related issues.

    Mahayana Buddhism

    ศึกษาวิเคราะห์กำเนิดและพัฒนาการของพระพุทธศาสนามหายาน คัมภีร์สำคัญ นิกายสำคัญทางพระพุทธศาสนามหายานและคำสอนสำคัญ ซึ่งสะท้อนอัตลักษณ์ความเป็นพุทธศาสนามหายาน การเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนามหายานในประเทศต่าง ๆ ตลอดถึงสิ่งท้าทายและการปรับตัวของพระพุทธศาสนามหายานในโลกปัจจุบัน

      To study and analyse the origin and its development of Mahayana Buddhism including the significant scriptures, sects, and teachings which obviously shed the light on Mahayana Buddhist identities.  It is also to explore the spread of Mahayana Buddhism in various countries including the new challenges put into Mahayana Buddhism and its adjustment in the current world.

      ศึกษาวิเคราะห์กำเนิดและพัฒนาการของพระพุทธศาสนาเถรวาท คัมภีร์พระพุทธศาสนาเถรวาทและหลักคำสอนสำคัญ ซึ่งสะท้อนอัตลักษณ์ความเป็นพุทธศาสนาเถรวาท การเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนาเถรวาทในประเทศต่าง ๆ ตลอดถึงสิ่งท้าทายและการปรับตัวของพระพุทธศาสนาเถรวาทในโลกปัจจุบัน

      This course is to study and analyze the origin, development and scriptures of Theravada Buddhism including the essential teachings which characteristically reflect on Theravada Buddhist identities.  It is also to explore the spread of Theravada Buddhism in various countries where the great deal of challenges and its adjustment of Theravada Buddhism along the course of time until present.

                    Buddhist Arts and Buddhadhamma

               ศึกษาวิเคราะห์ประวัติความเป็นมาและพัฒนาการของงานพุทธศิลปกรรม ในด้านจิตรกรรม ประติมากรรม และสถาปัตยกรรม ทัศนสัญลักษณ์ในงานพุทธศิลปกรรมทั้งในแบบโบราณและร่วมสมัย หลักพุทธธรรมที่แฝงอยู่ในผลงานการสร้างแนวความคิดทางศิลปะที่ลุ่มลึก รวมถึงมุมมองทางด้านสุนทรียศาสตร์ในพุทธปรัชญา

              To study and analyze the history and its development of Buddhist arts in terms of painting, sculpture and architecture focusing on visual symbols in the Buddhist arts in both ancient and contemporary formation. In this, it is also to explore the Buddhist teachings underlying the creation of ideas on the spectacular art including the aesthetical perspectives in Buddhist philosophy.

วิชา นวัตกรรมการจัดการเรียนรู้ภาษาไทย (Innovation of Learning Management in Thai)

การผลิตสื่อและแบบเรียนภาษาไทย นวัตกรรมจากงานวิจัยทางการเรียนการสอนภาษาไทย การผลิตสื่อใหม่ๆ มาใช้ในการจัดการเรียนการสอนภาษาไทยในระดับประถมศึกษาและมัธยมศึกษา
